Differences between Aqualyx and other brands?
Aqualyx®, developed for the non-surgical reduction of localised fat under the skin is a gel-based aqueous solution, which dissolves fat and is biocompatible and biodegradable. Aqualyx® works by causing the dissolution of fat cells. The body then expels the released fatty acids naturally.

Introducing Fat Dissolve
Injectable Fat Dissolve
Injectable fat dissolve has been designed to help local fat stores that are otherwise extremely stubborn to be removed through diet and exercise. This treatment is administered via injection to the area.
The fat is chemically flushed through the lymphatic drainage system by the use of a product created to help reduce fat deposits. This treatment is a safe alternative to liposuction.

We recommend to have at least 4 treatments per area spaced out 3-4 weeks apart. You will need to attend a patch test and a consultation appointment prior to this treatment.
The effects are apparent approximately 4 weeks post treatment, during which the fatty tissue gradually dissolves.
The fatty tissue is eliminated evenly and as the treatment is also beneficial for collagen fibers, the skin’s elasticity will be amplified.
The treatment is not completely painless and you may feel a little discomfort, tightness and a bee sting like effect after application. This will disappear quite quickly.

WILL THE FAT DISSOLVE TREATMENT HURT
With Fat Dissolve you will feel a slight sting after each penetration and you will have a small bee sting like patch on the skin.
DO I NEED TO BE PATCH TESTED
Yes, we will invite you in for a consultation where you will be patch tested at this appointment. The results are known within 24 hours.
HOW EFFECTIVE ARE THE TREATMENTS
These treatments will work providing you follow the strict aftercare advice. You need to make sure you maintain a healthy diet, drink lots of water and do some light exercise to help the lymphatic system flush the fat out of your system.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED
We recommend between 4-6 treatments depending on area and size. This will be discussed at your consultation appointment.
HOW MANY AREAS CAN BE TREATED
We will only treat 2 areas at a time. This is due to the lymphatic system and its ability to handle the amount of product used.
